2016年奧運會，將於2016年8月5日-21日在巴西舉行的里約熱內盧舉行。主題曲《Rise》是由美國知名歌手 Katy Perry（凱蒂•佩里）（水果姐）演唱。

水果姐凱蒂•佩里也是《Rise》的詞、曲作者，她借這首歌曲表達了「讓世界人民團結友愛」的願望；歌曲以高昂的旋律和激勵的歌詞鼓舞、振奮人心。這首歌曲一經發行就登上iTunes25個國家地區歌曲榜首，並且在全世界各大主要城市都有大型宣傳：空中文字和建築投射。

整個MV有失落，有遺憾，也有驚喜與勝利。讓人在感受冠軍力量的同時，也能觸及到靈魂。體育不只是奧運金牌的光輝，除了歡笑還有淚水，但體育精神是共通的。

《Rise》的詞曲作者佩里說：「這首歌我已經醖釀多年，最終跟大家見面，我受到鼓舞在今年而不是在我的下一張專輯完成這首歌的創作，因為此時此刻全世界比以往任何時候都需要團結在一起。我知道只要我們國家、全世界團結在一起，我們一定能夠克服恐懼。」
